5 Symptoms And Early Warning Signs Of Hemorrhoids (Don’t Ignore)

Hard Lumps Near the Anus

If you have external hemorrhoids, there would be hard lumps under the skin around your anal area. These hard lumps are common symptoms of hemorrhoids and affect nearly half of the people aged 50 in the United States. Aside from the hard lumps, you may also feel itchiness, pain, swollen lumps, and bleeding.

The lumps occur because of the dilation of the veins in the anal area. With the occurrence of the lump, you can experience pain during bowel movements. You may also feel the lumps internally.

According to healthcare providers, hemorrhoids are more common in people who have family members having the same disease. Further, people who have chronic constipation or diarrhea are at risk of developing hemorrhoids. The disease can also occur in people who frequently perform strenuous activities and those who stand for long hours daily.

Experts say that severe pain is not a common symptom of hemorrhoids. However, the situation is different if the external hemorrhoid has thrombosis or blood clot. The hard lump or painful bulge at your anus’ rims may have a purple or blue tint due to the blood clot. At times, external hemorrhoids with thrombosis would discharge blood.
