Dizziness and Nausea
With the potential for headaches (even migraines), a head cold can accompany symptoms such as dizziness and nausea. When you’re having a challenging time keeping focus due to mental fatigue and sluggishness (lethargy), it’s common to start feeling nauseous. In such situations, it’s a good idea to stay seated comfortably and wait out your symptoms. Of course, you’ll need to get some food to push back the viral infection as soon as possible, but it will be challenging due to nausea. While it’s not ideal, you can rest easy knowing that a common cold typically does not leave lasting effects. It only lasts for about a week, or even just a few days, if you’re diligent about your rest.
Over-the-counter medication helps to deal with dizziness/nausea, though ensure you speak with your local physician so they can prescribe the ideal medication. Some medicines don’t pair together very well, and you’ll likely want a combination of painkillers and something to help with the dizziness. It will be challenging to deal with symptoms such as dizziness, but you won’t have to suffer for very long.
