Cough
A head cold will sometimes come with a cough, which will usually tell you the severity of your cold. Symptoms such as cough aren’t too bad, but it can be rare to have a persistent cough as part of your cold symptoms. If your cough continues within the next few days, it helps to contact your doctor to let them know what’s going on. While a cough is one of the symptoms of a common cold, it’s also a potential indicator of other health issues. Considering that a head cold comes with a swathe of other symptoms, it’s not easy to single things out. However, the persistent cough is one of the only common indicators of something else going on.
Dealing with a cough when you have a cold is challenging, as each cough can cause pain to radiate in your head. The sudden jerking movement of coughs and sneezes is not ideal when paired with headaches. As such, medication to deal with coughs is a good idea to help lessen the effects of your cold.
