Regular yogurt has a pH range of 4 to 4.5, but Greek yogurt has a pH range of 4.8 to 4.9. However, while Greek yogurt is acidic, its consumption does not increase stomach acid production since yogurt efficiently neutralizes these acids. Despite its acidic pH, the substance is alkaline-forming. It implies that it helps the body remain alkaline and does not exacerbate acid reflux symptoms.
