Kidney Failure
The kidneys are bean-shaped organs that are found in the lower back region. Their purpose is to remove toxins and filter the blood. The toxins that they eliminate go into the bladder before being flushed when urinating. Generally, kidney failure happens when the organs are unable to filter waste from the blood sufficiently. Many different factors may interfere with their function and health, such as specific chronic and acute conditions, exposure to toxic pollutants and medications, severe dehydration, and kidney trauma.
If the kidneys fail to fulfill their intended purpose and function properly, toxins can overload the body. This can result in kidney failure, which can potentially be fatal if untreated. Moreover, compromised kidney functions can lead to various health conditions like gastritis, heart disease, liver scarring, and severe infections. Therefore, you must get immediate medical care as soon as symptoms begin presenting themselves.
Some symptoms that may occur due to kidney failure are reduced urine amounts, breathlessness, excessive fatigue and drowsiness, confusion, chest pressure or pain, and seizures. Urine color is also an excellent indicator of kidney health. Pale and clear yellow is ideal, while dark-colored, orange, red, and foamy urine may indicate the existence of kidney problems.
