Heart Disease
Heart disease is an encompassing term that refers to a wide variety of different heart conditions. It is also known as cardiovascular disease, which literally means an illness of the heart and blood vessels. Although heart disease is the biggest cause of mortality in the United States, many different forms of heart disease may be managed and prevented.
The following factors can lead to heart disease: first, there might be a damaged part of the heart; second, there could be a problem with the blood arteries going to or from the heart; third, there could be a poor oxygen supply and nutrients to the heart; and fourth, there could be a problem with the rhythm of the heart.
A heart attack can result in cardiac arrest making the heart suddenly stop beating, and the body cannot perform any functions. If a person is experiencing any signs of a heart attack, they need emergency medical assistance.
