Allergic Reactions
Eye inflammation typically occurs due to infection, allergies, and trauma to the eyes. Usually, eye inflammation can indicate something serious, and you could lose your vision if you aren’t careful. It can also cause eye floaters due to the state of the vitreous within the eye during an allergic reaction. That said, most cases of eye inflammation are easily treatable, especially if you catch it as early as possible. It can be particularly problematic for those with an allergy to dust or pollen, as it can be challenging to avoid outside, especially during the pollen season. One way to help prevent eye irritation when going out is to wear protective eyewear. It might seem strange to try to protect your eyes this way when so many people make do without them, but everyone reacts to foreign substances differently. Consider protective eyewear if you’re having eye problems due to irritation from allergic reactions.
It’s also a good idea to wash up when you get inside the house, as it can eliminate the pollen and dust stuck to your body. Going to bed with a head full of pollen isn’t ideal, so wash up before rest.
