Glaucoma
Glaucoma is a group of different eye diseases that could lead to loss of vision if left unchecked. Glaucoma can be stressful, primarily caused by damage to the optic nerve. As far as the cause goes, glaucoma can be challenging to diagnose as it starts slowly and there are no symptoms. The three significant symptoms of glaucoma include halos around lights, blurred vision whenever you exercise, and a gradual loss of peripheral/side vision. In addition, an abnormality in the eye’s drainage system can result in a buildup of fluid, adding increased pressure to the back of the eye. Such pressure will also lead to eye floaters.
The unfortunate thing about glaucoma is that although the symptoms can be slowed down, there is no cure (yet). Glaucoma can cause all sorts of vision issues without a proper cure if left unchecked. It will eventually lead to blindness if there is no treatment. Eye pressure is affected in various ways, and learning to avoid too much stress on the eye can help you potentially avoid glaucoma.
