Other Types of Eczema
Any skin condition that affects your hands and feet has the potential to turn into dyshidrotic eczema. For example, a blister could turn into dyshidrosis, especially if you scratch and pop it, turning it into an open wound. That said, the skin conditions in question are other types of eczema and allergic reactions that could turn into hives or rashes. After all, dyshidrotic eczema is a rash that causes a cluster of itchy blisters to form. Those with other skin conditions are much more likely to get dyshidrosis, so it’s a good idea to work toward prevention.
Even if you don’t have dyshidrotic eczema, having other types of eczema can be a risk factor, which means taking steps to ensure you avoid flare-ups as much as possible. It also means trying to avoid potential triggers for skin allergies. That said, having eczema is enough of a reason to prevent dyshidrosis causes, as you could eventually have a cluster of blisters if you aren’t careful. Eczema can be stressful, as one type is usually a risk factor for the others.
