Too Much Sugar in Your Diet
Medical professionals recommend you limit sugar intake in your diet as much as possible. The reason why it’s so crucial to limit sugar intake is due to how it can affect your body. For example, one of the most dangerous conditions you can get due to consuming sugary foods and drinks is diabetes, a lifelong condition that can affect your quality of life. That said, diabetes isn’t the only thing you have to worry about. Too much sugar in your diet can cause flaking and dandruff buildup due to lack of moisture in the skin. It will eventually lead to flaky and scaly patches of skin, as well as a dry scalp due to sugar. It might seem odd that too much sugar in your diet can cause a dry scalp, but the human body’s overall health depends on what you eat and drink.
