Normal Bowel Function
Sweating, urination, and fecal elimination all require water. One may be more susceptible to constipation if they don’t get enough fiber, magnesium, and water in their diet. When the body is adequately hydrated, the water helps keep things flowing through the digestive system and avoids constipation.
Bowel function problems arise when the colon draws water from feces to keep the body hydrated if the body doesn’t obtain enough water. Drinking lots of water and eating a lot of fiber will help to keep the bowels moving along in the best way possible to overcome these problems.
Bowel disorders commonly affect the small intestine, although some can also impact the large intestine and other digestive system areas. Bowel problems impact the body’s absorption and digestion of food. They may result in painful symptoms like constipation or diarrhea. They could result in additional health issues if left unchecked.
