Migraine
A migraine is a recurring headache in which only one side of the head experiences pulsing or throbbing pain. The condition is common among men and women. People with migraine may experience dizziness first before having migraine episodes. However, they may also experience vertigo or other dizziness forms even without a severe headache.
Vertigo episodes may persist for minutes to hours and are often associated with noise, light sensitivity, and headaches. Vertigo and dizziness are more common in migraine with aura, also called “classic migraine.” Lifestyle changes are the best way to manage the condition, such as avoiding the triggers, getting regular exercise, lowering stress levels, and stopping smoking.
