Boosts the Immune System

According to studies, chlorophyll may aid in improving white blood cell production if a person’s ability to generate white blood cells is compromised. One study randomly assigned 105 individuals with low white blood cell counts to one of three groups.
The first group received 40 mg of chlorophyllin three times per day, while the second received 20 mg of filgrastim, an agent that stimulates bone marrow and boosts the generation of white blood cells, three times each day. A vitamin C (100 mg) placebo was given to the final group three times per day.
The following outcomes were noted following a month of therapy. The effectiveness of the chlorophyllin group in raising white blood cell count was 85%. The filgrastim group’s effectiveness rate was 83.3%. In the placebo group, the effectiveness rate was 26.7%. Furthermore, the chlorophyllin group didn’t experience any adverse effects. These results suggest that chlorophyll may be a beneficial natural remedy for improved white blood cell production, while more research is necessary.
Additionally, it has been demonstrated that chlorophyll shields cells from oxidative damage by scavenging free radicals. Oxidative stress is brought on by toxins and aging.
