Violent Coughing and Powerful Sneezing
Even simple tasks or acts that overwork the body could easily cause blood in the eye to appear.
When people have a paroxysmal cough, their bodies exert much effort in coughing in intermittent, violent, and uncontrollable episodes. Sometimes, it even comes with breathing difficulty and vomiting. Paroxysmal cough is an often painful and exhausting condition that strains the body and causes blood vessels, including those in the eye, to rupture randomly.
In the same way, people who sneeze in a powerful expulsion of air could cause the same strain. Sneezing is part of the nose’s job to clear out irritants and impurities in the nose. Sneezing happens when dirt enters the nose and gets in contact with the sensitive mucous membranes. Some common triggers that cause people to sneeze are allergens, viruses, and inhalation of corticosteroids used through a nasal spray. Although common, strong and powerful sneezing could strain the blood vessels, causing some of them to break.
People who experience violent coughing and powerful sneezing as the cause of their blood spot, they should get to the bottom of the problem or the underlying cause to resolve the issue.
