Weakness or Paralysis
The arms are pretty valuable for performing tasks in the daily grind. Anything that could limit the range of motion of the arms could become a cause for concern because it would limit one’s capabilities as well.
There could be a lot of reasons that may trigger weakness in the arm or paralysis. One of the most common is an injury or trauma. It may also appear due to repetitive strain. Left arm weakness that comes with shortness of breath and chest pains is a medical emergency because it may be caused by a heart condition or, worse, a heart attack.
How people react to arm weakness in the arm depends on the severity of its underlying cause. For example, if it was due to overuse or lifting heavy weights, expect the sensation to be temporary and go away on its own. But immediate medical attention is advised if it comes with other, more severe symptoms that point to either a heart ailment or a blood clot.
