For example, dentures can cause bleeding gums if they do not fit properly. While it is normal to feel some discomfort at the beginning with dentures, if it persists, then it is not a good fit. That can mean pressure on the gums, which results in bleeding. The best option is to visit the dentist and have the dentures measured again for a snug and comfortable fit.
Additionally, daily cleaning should be a habit. Dirt and food particles can stick to the dentures and cause a bad fit. If the wearer ever experiences pain, they should visit the dentist immediately. They will check if there are any corrections needed. The problem may not even be with the dentures. Plaque buildup on teeth can cause problems with how it fits since they change the surface of the teeth.
