Gastritis
Gastritis is a very general term for irritation of the stomach lining. At its mildest, it should be nothing to worry about. People experience gastritis from eating spicy food. Gastritis sometimes doesn’t even manifest symptoms. If it does get worse, the general symptoms are a pain in the upper abdomen. This pain only gets worse after eating. Black vomit is also possible in the worst situations, usually after suffering from the chronic version of this condition.
The best way to handle gastritis is for a person to be more careful about their diet. Many people eat what they want and don’t care about the effects that it could have. For example, spicy food can be very irritating to the stomach lining. The chemicals that make something spicy, like capsaicin in chili peppers, are poison for other species. It is only because humans are more robust and larger that they can survive them. However, consuming them in massive amounts can be dangerous. A blander diet and controlled eating should help ease gastritis that many people suffer. It should also allow the stomach to heal from the abuse it suffered.
