Cluster Headache
Various causes and factors typically cause headaches. It could be due to medical complications, food intake, fatigue, or stress. Many people suffer from this, and cluster headache is the most painful. Cluster headache is a severe pain that often bothers a person’s sleep as it frequently attacks at midnight. The bothersome pain can be on one side of the head or around one eye. Meanwhile, when the remission stage happens, headaches will stop and will not occur for a month or even a year. It is neither contagious nor life-threatening, and medications can suppress the pain.
Excruciating aches (especially on one side of the eye) are linked to clustering headache as its symptom. A person will also become restless as the pain can connect and spread around the head and to the neck. Redness of the eyes manifests as one of its symptoms too. Tears also reproduce excessively, and eye swelling and eyelids drooping also occur in the affected area.
As cluster headache attacks, it only lasts for 15 minutes to 1 hour, and after such a period, the pain gradually disappears.
